Finely crafted using a professional archival process, the Plaid Design giclée is a limited edition signed/numbered museum-quality fine art print that will last 100 years or more if properly cared for. All artwork is printed to individual order — no mass-printing — so please allow 2-3 days (paper) or 2-3 weeks (canvas) for this process to complete before your art is shipped. Product images accurately depict the artwork. For paper prints, dimensions listed usually include a white or colored border for unobtrusive matting (often 2" around). Frames not included; sample wall images not necessarily to scale. More details below ...

WHAT IS A GICLÉE?
The word "giclée" (zhee•clay) is a fancy-sounding French word that simply means "to spray" or "to squirt" (much like an inkjet printer does). In the art world, this refers specifically to art prints made with only the finest archival pigment inks, papers, and canvases. This ensures an extraordinary level of detail, accuracy, and color reproduction, and the term "archival" refers to this exceptional quality and significant longevity of well over 100 years. The archival quality of a giclée is far superior to that of a "standard" art print (hence the price difference).
