I'm afraid anything I have to say about Shakes will pale in comparison to Mr. Scorsese's take. So let's just leave it at that. The one thing I will say about the piece is that this was a commission I jumped at the chance to do, as a Shakes piece or three were already on my short list to Mod Pop Art-ize, being a big fan of not only the film, but of Bobcat Goldthwait - and not just as a writer/director/actor, but as a human. It also may interest you to know that Bobcat himself owns all of my Shakes pieces!
