I first created this dove for "This is What it Sounds Like" from my four-piece tribute to Prince; I later placed two doves on my record label for Maybe as well as my official Plaid Design logo, solidifying the branding of the dove for all things Plaid. The significance of the dove is more to me than just a tribute to Prince or the universal symbol of peace - it is definitely those things, but on a more personal level, the dove represents my love for my wife; it's a reference to my song "LoveBirds," a metaphorical story about the fact that I never knew how to "fly" until I met her. And as Paul Harvey said, "Now you know the rest of the story!"
