Check out the entire Third Man Collection!
For Version 2 of my poster for The Third Man, I went bold and simple. I love the shot of Harry Lime's silhouette in the sewer as he is caught with the bright light in the background - a shot that lasts maybe one second long, but is extremely memorable. I wanted to stylize it, so I used perfect circles to depict the tunnel and utilized a gradient effect with thick, solid lines of color from the light center to the black background. I like how it creates a sort of bull's eye target effect, adding to the symbolism. This version of the poster is for true fans of the film, and may be my favorite due to the minimalist style.
