Can you believe Eric Stoltz was almost Marty McFly? Stoltz is great, but no one but Michael J. Fox could've been Marty McFly. Back to the Future is nearly perfectly cast across the board, and Fox is no exception. Regarding the title of this piece, I love the fact that the slang Marty uses is dated for the time, "heavy" being used most often. But it's Doc who has one of my favorite series of lines in the whole trilogy when he responds, "There's that word again. Heavy. Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull?"
