The Legend of Zelda franchise is my favorite video game series of all time (and it ain't even really that close). My fascination started on day one with that awesome golden NES cartridge and continues today. So I wanted to create a piece that marries the original with the current in one image by drawing modern-day Link matching the pose of his sword-thrusting 8-bit sprite and then fusing them together. How did I do it? Some sort of magic, probably. Perhaps I drank a green potion. Or I could have been helped by a fairy trapped in a bottle. Or maybe I just drank a bottle of milk from Lon Lon Ranch ...
